Nineteen years ago, Kristen Carlson opened Right at Home Galveston Franchise and worked to help elderly and disabled age in their own home with the help of Right at Home Caregivers.

When she found Grasons, she thought that it would be a great complement to her Right at Home business. She opened Grasons in 2026 and delights that she will be able to help people downsize their homes and sell belonging at a good price.
Prior to opening the Galveston RAH office, Kristen worked for over twelve years in medical management (8 years at the University of Texas Medical Branch and 5 years at the Center of Reproductive Medicine). Prior to moving to Galveston, she worked as a Financial Analyst at First Boston Corp in New York City. Kristen has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and an MBA from University of Houston Clear Lake.

Kristen has lived in Galveston since 1993. Kristen is actively involved in the Rotary Club of Galveston and was named Most Valuable Member in June 2009. She most recently served as President of the club 2017-2018 and served on the Board of Directors from 2009-2012. Kristen also serves as the Treasurer for the Galveston Art League, a non-profit art gallery.
